2023 - 2024 Coaching Staff
Caraline joins the JLK Coaching Staff for her first season coaching basketball. Caraline is a JLK and Alter Alumni. She was a Team Captain of the 2022 State Championship Team. In addition, she won an AAU National Championship as a 7th Grader. Caraline was 2nd Team All-GCL in her Senior season. Caraline is excited about getting started with the newest Junior Lady Knights.
Elizabeth Hogue was born and raised in Kettering, OH. She is a graduate of Chaminade Julienne H.S. and was part of the 1999 State Championship basketball team. After high school, Elizabeth attended Bethel College in Mishawaka, IN where she continued her basketball career until she enrolled in the police academy. Elizabeth has been serving as a law enforcement officer for the last 18 years and she is currently a detective for the Huber Heights Police Division. Elizabeth is married with two daughters, Sophia, 7, and Audrey, 9 and they are both playing in the JLK program.

Joe graduated from Miami University in 2010 and has lived all over South Dayton after first moving to Springboro in 2011. Currently in Bellbrook, he and his wife, Lauren, have 3 daughters: Emma 11, Charlotte 9, and Violet 3 that attend St. Charles. This is Joe’s first year as a head coach after serving as an assistant under James Davis the previous two seasons. He is looking forward to a great season!
4th Grade White
Jesse has been coaching basketball for the past 13 years from recreational to high school aged AAU. Jesse has coached with the JLK program for the past 4 years and with the SDK program 5 years prior to that. Jesse is an excellent fundamentals coach. His main goals for this season are teaching the basics and following through with the basics in the game setting.
Mike has lived in the greater Dayton area for 16 years now after attending UD for grad school. He and his wife, Julia have 3 kids. Lana 13, Mya 11, and Cora 9 that attend Incarnation and participate with JLK.
This is Mike's third year as a head coach after serving as an assistant the previous two seasons.
James has been involved in some capacity with JLK since his oldest daughter joined the program in 2015. With five active children, his coaching stints have spanned recreational and competitive basketball, soccer, softball, baseball, flag football, and volleyball. For the past four seasons he has taken on a coaching role with JLK, either with individual teams or the Lil’ Dribblers program. When not coaching, you may find James sitting on a gym floor snapping photos of any of our Junior Lady Knights teams.
Rob returns this year for his 10th season coaching with the program. Rob has coached basketball, soccer, and baseball from youth recreational levels through high school for over 30 years. Rob is President of the Junior Lady Knights, a Positive Coaching Alliance Double Goal Coach, and a USA Basketball Licensed Coach. Rob has also coached for South Dayton Knights, Dayton Lady Hoopstars, Team Ohio, and Dayton Metro, including a 2019 3rd Grade Division 1 AAU National Final Four. This is Rob's 13th year in the program. Rob is looking forward to working with the Class of 2029!
Amy will begin her 18th year of coaching this season, and her second with JLK. She has also coached for Lebanon, Team Ohio, and Dayton Lady Hoopstars. Amy has coached in multiple AAU State championships. She holds an USA Basketball Gold License, as well as first aid, concussion and CPR certifications. Amy focuses on fundamentals, footwork details and reading the floor with her players. She is a 1996 graduate of Archbishop Alter and has two children, Payton and Emma. Proudest coaching memory was watching Emma win a State Championship her senior year, after coaching her since she was 5.
